The Title name of Sui Generis refers to the unique and 'One of a Kind' pieces created and designed by Colin & Leo Kerr, who undertake every aspect of the commission.

Sui Generis embraces the full spectrum of woodwork:
Bookbinding, Carving, Furniture Making and Designing, Joinery, Leaded Light Work, Marquetry, Upholstery, and Restoration (also Insurance Claims work).

All pieces made by Sui Generis are hand - crafted investments, made to client's individual requirements. Upon completion they are duly embossed with the dragon's head (which is the Sui Generis logo).

Quality materials, which are chosen from a vast stock of seasoned timber, and quality construction methods - mortice and tenon, and hand cut dovetail joints, are just a small part of the considerable care and time given to each individual commission.
